Service Opportunities

We are going to put a bigger emphasis on serving the community this year.  I know many of us are already involved individually like Duane and Becky Vazquez who are working with Bee A Blessing which they are doing a fantastic job and we commend them for their selfless dedication to that ministry. Dan and Karen Kibley are mentoring college students here at the church and I could not think of two better people to take on a much needed ministry. Or how a lot of us bring a bag of food for bumper bag weekend, or back packs for school children and all of this service is awesome and very needed.  We as a group love to serve and praise God for that.

As a group of believers and members of the Maranatha Life Group I want to organize projects we can do together to serve the church and the community we live in.  I will be contacting Jaime at the church office to see where we can serve as a group to a bring us together for the cause of serving our community.  I am always open to suggestions or ideas on what we can do.

The first project we can do together is this coming Saturday September 17th with the House to Home Ministry here at CCV.  They have a list of homes in the community that need some work on them to help the families living there.  We as a group can add something to this project with our time and energy and the skills God have gifted us with.  I will be sending out and email this week with more information about Saturdays Hose to Home project.
